Should I remove the crystal from my Affirmation Candle before lighting it?
You can light the candle with the crystal in place. If the crystal does not interfere with the burning, it is perfectly fine to leave it there. However, if you notice that the candle goes out or the burning is impeded, you may remove the crystal once it loosens and becomes free in the liquid wax. This typically happens because the loose crystal can shift and press against the wick.
